Diploma in  Computer  Hardware Engineering  is a three year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education Thiruvananthapuram and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Computer Hardware Engineering

The Department of Computer Hardware Engineering is showing an exponential growth since the establishment of the institution in 1999. Today the department has become a full-fledged section with advanced laboratory facilities to train the students and thus able to meet the current needs of the fast changing industrial scenario. The 21st century is the era of computing and big data handling. All aspects of human life, more or less, is relied on Computer and allied technologies. This field of technology deals with the software and hardware components. The curriculum of Diploma in Computer Hardware Engineering is designed so as to fulfill the requirement of the society, industry and technology.

Computer Hardware  engineering covers the range from theory and practical application of designing and implementation of products using hardware and software. Computer Hardware engineering students study the design of digital hardware systems including communications systems, computers, and embedded systems. They study software development, focusing on software for digital and mobile devices and their interfaces with users and other devices.

As part of the curriculum of computer Hardware engineering, the students of this department undergo a two week industrial training programme in various reputed organizations in the public or private sectors. Also the department has a full-fledged software Development Lab and a Network Programming Lab where the students can develop live projects including multimedia applications, System Softwares, Database Applications and web and android based applications.

Department is enriched with highly qualified and devoted faculties and lab staffs who always focus on the professional career and character development of the students.
